DUNE-X 18
A premium passenger shuttle concept that brings commercial-bus comfort and serious 4×4 capability into one coherent vehicle.

One vehicle. Two very different worlds.
Dubai’s premium transport market asks for a calm, polished passenger experience. Desert tourism asks for clearance, traction, protection and robust serviceability. DUNE-X 18 was framed around making both feel intentional—without turning the bus into an oversized SUV.
- 18 passengers plus driver in a premium 2+1 layout
- True 4×4 drivetrain and commercial all-terrain tyres
- High ground clearance for resort and desert-access roads
- Panoramic glazing, roof HVAC and practical luggage capacity
- Production-plausible lighting, access and service interfaces
Premium above. Protective below.
Champagne bodywork and panoramic glazing create the premium shuttle character. A darker, visually continuous lower zone carries the off-road story through the fascia, arches, steps and underbody protection.

Character comes from components that have a job to do.
The design was developed as a coordinated set of usable systems—not just a surface model. Lighting, protection, seating, HVAC, entry and service access all reinforce the same vehicle identity.

Outcome
A credible foundation for engineering development.
The concept defines proportion, identity, primary systems and the passenger experience. The next phase moves from coordinated concept geometry into chassis selection, package validation, structural development and homologation planning.
